For sheer size and majesty, the Grand Canyon in Arizona is hard to beat. In good weather with sunshine and blue skies, the canyons are beautiful; in cloudy or stormy weather when those big thunderheads tower over the twisting Colorado River, there is greatness in the view. I wanted to do a drawing showing Bald Eagles and what better way than combining them with a view over the Grand Canyon and rain showers in slanting sunlight.
