Sometimes one is lucky enough to come across a herd of elephants moving like a train in single file on the trail. I wanted to create intense contrast with this particular piece, emphasising the whiteness of the clouds with a very dark sky. When using pencil, it's imperative to maintain a fairly high degree of contrast, otherwise tones become flat.
